Methodology
The way we teach portuguese..
Methodology
Our Portuguese for Foreigners (PLE) course is designed for agile and immersive communication from day one. To ensure the best use of our methodology and a smooth integration, we require students to have at least an intermediate level of English or Spanish. This common ground facilitates linguistic and cultural bridges, accelerating your journey toward autonomy in Brazilian Portuguese.
Didatic
Forget the endless lists of verbs that nobody actually uses on the streets. Beniforall's methodology brings you real, dynamic Portuguese as it is spoken every day in Brazil. By integrating language and culture in a smooth progression, this method transforms every lesson into a real-life simulation (such as filling out documents, grocery shopping, or debating current events), accelerating fluency in a natural and contextualized way.
Within our methodology, students can track their performance progress through graphic reports that make it easier to design new strategies to strengthen key learning points.

Advanced
Why do our courses go up to the B2 level (Upper-Intermediate)? In teaching Portuguese for Foreigners, reaching the B2 level means you have become a fully independent communicator, capable of working, studying, and living in Brazil with confidence.
From this point onward (Advanced C1 and C2 levels), learning no longer depends on traditional textbooks.
Progressing toward total fluency is custom-tailored, achieved through debates, cultural immersion, reading native media, and preparation focused on your specific field. Furthermore, the B1-B2 Beniforall's method itself already utilizes the structure of the official Celpe-Bras exam, which is the exact same certification used to attest advanced levels (C1 and C2).
Here, our greatest priority is our students' satisfaction with their progress. For this to happen, it is important to know the syllabus in advance and understand what your next steps will be

ADULTS
Book 1 (A1 e A2)
Much more than a grammar book: it is an immersion passport into Brazilian language and culture for foreign students at Beginner (A1) and Elementary (A2) levels. With a methodology entirely focused on a communicative and task-based approach, the material prepares students for day-to-day "know-how." From the very first chapters, students learn the real, dynamic Portuguese spoken on the streets of Brazil, enabling them to fill out forms, navigate bureaucracy, go shopping, and interact independently. Through a light and inductive grammatical progression combined with rich tidbits of Brazilian culture and identity, it transforms language learning into a practical, smooth, and welcoming experience.
Book 2 (B1 e B2)
It is the definitive material for foreign students wishing to make the leap from a basic level to fluency and autonomy at the Intermediate (B1) and Upper-Intermediate (B2) levels. Maintaining the collection’s acclaimed communicative and intercultural approach, this volume elevates learning through complex tasks that simulate academic, professional, and social life in Brazil. The highlight of this book is its commitment to the Celpe-Bras exam: the activities incorporate real oral and written production tasks extracted directly from the official exam. By exploring the rich linguistic diversity, multiple voices, and cultural nuances of Brazil's regions, SAMBA! Vol. 2 transforms the student into a confident communicator, capable of arguing, debating, and expressing abstract ideas naturally.
